My Take
Campusano is one of those catching prospects whose bat always seemed ahead of the rest of his game, and that is exactly what makes him fun to track. The Padres clearly believed in his hit tool from the day they drafted him, and when he gets regular reps he can really swing it for a catcher. The position is brutal, and competing for playing time in a deep San Diego system has not been easy, but the offensive upside keeps the faith alive. I am rooting for him to lock down everyday at-bats and prove the early hype right.
