Mark Eydelshteyn

Mark Eydelshteyn is the kind of young actor I love to watch arrive. Born in 2002 in Nizhny Novgorod, he built his footing in the coming-of-age film The Land of Sasha before exploding into international view with Anora. What drew me in was the raw, unguarded quality he brought to that role, a mix of charm and recklessness that felt genuinely lived rather than performed. Crossing from Russian cinema into an acclaimed American film at his age is no small leap. There is an unfinished, restless energy about him that suggests his most interesting work is still ahead, and I am genuinely curious where he goes next.
