Markella Kavenagh

Markella Kavenagh strikes me as a genuine talent on the rise. Born in 2000, she has already stacked up serious credits in works like Picnic at Hanging Rock and True History of the Kelly Gang, but her starring turn as the harfoot Nori Brandyfoot in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is the real headline. Being handed the emotional center of such a colossal production is no small vote of confidence. To me she has both natural screen presence and dramatic substance, the rare pairing that tends to suddenly break wide open. I would keep a close eye on this one.
