My Take

Meher Vij, born Vaishali Sahdev, interests me precisely because she thrives in supporting roles. Both Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Secret Superstar rank among the highest-grossing Indian films ever, and earning a Filmfare Best Supporting Actress award in that company is no small feat. Supporting work is the hardest kind of acting in my view, since you must serve the story without ever stealing it, and she clearly understands that discipline.
