My Take

Mykhailo Fedorov is one of the most consequential figures of his generation, and at this point the 'film actor' tag feels almost beside the point. As Ukraine's young Minister of Digital Transformation he turned the state into something startlingly modern, and his wartime role, rallying tech and drones, has been extraordinary to watch. Now serving as Minister of Defence since early 2026, he's operating at the absolute center of his country's survival. What strikes me is how someone born in 1991 in Vasylivka rose so fast through sheer competence. The Order of Merit barely captures the weight of what he's carrying.
