My Take
Natalie Wynn, better known as ContraPoints, is one of the few online creators I'd call a genuine artist. A Northwestern-educated essayist born in 1988, she turns dense subjects like gender, ethics, and political philosophy into lavishly staged, theatrical video essays that reward repeat viewing. What impresses me most is her willingness to engage extreme arguments head-on rather than caricature them. Writing, performing, and directing nearly everything herself, she's built a body of work that's both rigorous and genuinely entertaining. In a medium that rewards reactionary noise, her patience and craft feel almost radical. I find her one of the internet's most thoughtful voices.
