My Take
For me Peta Wilson will always be Nikita. Her title turn in La Femme Nikita gave the late-90s small screen a heroine who was equal parts lethal and vulnerable, and she carried it with a restraint most action leads never manage. What I find quietly compelling is that she didn't stop at acting; the move into lingerie design suggests a woman with her own aesthetic instincts rather than someone waiting to be styled. She keeps her private life genuinely private, and I respect that. A Sydney-born Scorpio who let the work do the talking, she remains an underrated screen presence I'd happily revisit.
