My Take
Polina Gagarina first reached me through a single performance: Russia's Eurovision entry, A Million Voices, where she finished second yet became the first runner-up ever to clear 300 points. That tells you everything about the sheer force of her voice. She is a full-spectrum artist, singer, actor, model and composer, decorated at home with the Golden Gramophone and Muz-TV awards. But what I keep coming back to is the core strength in her instrument, the way she can silence a room across a language barrier using nothing but tone. Performers who move people through sound alone, no translation required, are genuinely rare, and I count her among them.
