My Take
Writing about Rob Knox is difficult, because his story is less a career than a promise interrupted. He won the role of Marcus Belby in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, had already signed on for the next film, and then his life ended at eighteen in May 2008. What stays with me is the glimpse of who he might have become — a teenager from Kent breaking into one of the biggest franchises in cinema. I believe the kindest thing an editor can do is keep his name in the record, so he is remembered for the door he opened, not only for how suddenly it closed.
