My Take
I cannot write about Ron Jeremy the way his old publicity did. Yes, he was once an improbable pop-culture fixture, the adult-film performer mainstream America somehow knew by name, crossing over into documentaries and countless cameos. But his later years brought numerous sexual assault allegations and criminal charges that fundamentally rewrote his story, and any honest editor has to lead with that. To me his life now reads as a cautionary record of what fame can excuse for decades. I include him here for completeness of the database, not for celebration; some legacies deserve documentation precisely because they should not be admired.
