Saori Anō

What strikes me about Saori Anou, a 160 cm wrestler from Otsu in Shiga who started out acting on stage for Stardom's entertainment arm, is the win column. She built her name in Actwres girl'Z, spent time as a freelancer working rings like Oz Academy and Ice Ribbon, then landed at World Wonder Ring Stardom and took the Wonder of Stardom Championship not once but twice. That path says something specific about her: she is a wrestler who kept proving herself in rooms that weren't hers yet. Plenty of performers are made by a single promotion's machinery. Anou seems to have arrived already finished, and the Cosmic Angels crowd-work grin sits on top of a fairly hard-earned confidence. She's also credited as an actor, but if you're looking for her defining role, I'd point at the belts.
