Shiloh Fernandez

Shiloh Fernandez is an actor I associate with a specific darker, indie-leaning corner of American film and television. I remember him from Jericho and United States of Tara on the small screen, but his film choices like Deadgirl and Red Riding Hood show a taste for moody, genre-tinged material. Stepping into Evil Dead in 2013, and then reprising David Allen for the 2022 Evil Dead video game, tells me he stayed connected to that horror lineage rather than chasing mainstream blockbusters. The fact that he's also credited as a screenwriter suggests to me he wants creative control, not just roles handed to him.
