What I admire most about Steven Wilson is that he refuses to outsource any part of his craft. Founder of Porcupine Tree, member of Blackfield, Storm Corrosion and No-Man, and a prolific solo artist with eight albums since 2008, he also engineers and produces the work himself, owning the sound from conception to final mix.
