My Take

What draws me to Tyler Bashlor is the climb. He did not arrive through a glamorous program; he grinded his way up from South Georgia State College to big-league mounds with the Mets and Pirates. That small-town-Georgia-to-the-majors arc is the kind of underdog story baseball does best.
