My Take

Vince Williams Jr. interests me less for his height and more for his trajectory. Coming out of Toledo, Ohio, sharpening his game with the VCU Rams, and earning his way to the NBA with the Utah Jazz is the kind of grind I genuinely respect. He reads to me as a player who builds his place through work rather than hype, the sort whose value shows up in the margins of a game rather than the highlight reel. I tend to root hardest for athletes like him, the ones who claw toward the highest level instead of being handed a seat at it.
