My Take
Vinícius Júnior is, for my money, the most watchable footballer of his generation. Plenty of players are fast; few make speed look like joy. Coming out of São Gonçalo to carry Real Madrid's attack while still so young is remarkable on its own, but what I admire more is his refusal to shrink. He has faced real ugliness from the stands and answered it by dancing, which takes a kind of courage that statistics never capture. Early in his career his finishing was mocked; he rebuilt that part of his game through sheer repetition. That arc — raw talent refined by stubbornness — is the one I respect most in sport.

Considered one of the best players in the world, he is known for his pace, technique and dribbling ability.
