Winter Ave Zoli

Winter Ave Zoli is, to me, a model case of the memorable supporting player. Best known as Lyla in Sons of Anarchy, she held her own inside a chaotic, male-dominated biker world, where a performer needs real backbone to avoid disappearing into the scenery. Born in New Hope, Pennsylvania, she moved from modeling into acting and kept turning up in solid ensembles like Bosch and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I have a soft spot for actors who anchor a story from the margins. They rarely get the headlines, but they are often the ones who make a world feel believable.
