YUE

There's something fitting about a performer who goes by a single name, YUE, after years of switching names by genre and label. Singer, actress, gravure model, and the first champion of the Battle World Pro Wrestling promotion, where her ballet background shows in every stretch and suplex. She once put out fifteen DVDs under three different names, earning the nickname "shadow DVD queen." That kind of shape-shifting is its own kind of stance, and honestly? It's working on me.
