Running Instagram is one of the most thankless executive jobs on earth, and Adam Mosseri does it in full public view. Born in New York, NYU-trained, and forged through the Facebook years, he sits at the controls of an app that shapes how billions share their lives. What I find compelling is his willingness to front the platform personally, answering for every controversial change rather than hiding behind a press team. That takes a particular kind of nerve.
