Arnau Tenas

Arnau Tenas intrigues me precisely because the goalkeeper is football's loneliest job, and he chose it. Born in 2001 in Vic, Catalonia, and now guarding the net for Mallorca on loan from Villarreal, he is still early in a story I suspect will get much bigger. Spanish-schooled keepers tend to be comfortable with the ball at their feet, which suits the modern game, and I expect that to serve him well. There is a particular pleasure in watching a young last line of defense grow into his confidence, and I plan to keep an eye on this one.
