My Take
Breece Hall is a player I find easy to get excited about. An Omaha native who starred at Iowa State, he arrived as a two-time All-American and Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, then went to the New York Jets in the second round of the 2022 draft carrying serious expectations. What draws me to running backs like him is the contrast between explosive, defense-shredding bursts and the patient grind it takes to get there. He still feels like a player whose ceiling is unsettled, with plenty of room to climb. I will be watching how high he goes.
