I'll be honest — when (G)I-DLE first debuted in 2018, Miyeon was the one I kept gravitating back to. There's something almost effortlessly magnetic about her: her voice sits in this warm, clear mid-range that can carry a gentle ballad one moment and hold its own in a high-energy bop the next. But what really won me over was the K/DA project — hearing her voice Ahri alongside some of the biggest names in K-pop was a genuinely goosebump moment for League of Legends fans and K-pop fans alike. She also stepped into acting with real confidence, proving she's not content just being the pretty face up front. Miyeon has this quiet depth to her that her group's wild, experimental sound sometimes overshadows, and I think she deserves every bit of spotlight she gets.
