Devon Witherspoon

Devon Witherspoon represents the kind of player I enjoy watching most: a defender who thrives on the unglamorous, high-pressure work of shutting down opposing stars. Earning Big Ten Defensive Back of the Year at Illinois in 2022 and then making the leap to the Seattle Seahawks at such a young age signals real competitive fire. Cornerback is a lonely, exposed position where mistakes are punished instantly, so it rewards confidence and short memory. From his playful online presence, he seems to pair that toughness with personality, and I am genuinely curious to see how high his ceiling goes.
