My Take

Diego López Noguerol is the kind of young player I enjoy following. Born in Turón, Asturias in 2002, he came up as a winger and forward and earned the nickname El Guajín, Asturian for the kid, which tells you the local crowd took to him early. Making it to a La Liga side like Valencia at his age is no small feat, and I like that he can play wide or through the middle. At 172cm he is not the biggest, so I expect his game leans on quickness and directness rather than power. He is one to watch, and I am curious how far his ceiling really goes.
