My Take
I have real respect for Dweezil Zappa, because being Frank Zappa's son might be the heaviest inheritance in rock. He could have coasted on the surname; instead he spent years mastering some of the most technically brutal music ever written so he could perform his father's catalog with genuine authority, work that earned him a Grammy on its own merits. That is not nostalgia, that is scholarship with calluses. As a guitarist he is monstrously underrated, fluent in styles most players never attempt. I see him as a man who turned an impossible legacy into a discipline, and quietly became a virtuoso in the process.
