My Take
I always enjoy watching Echo Kellum because he carries such an easy warmth on screen. The Chicago native broke through as Curtis Holt on Arrow, but his roots are in comedy, with turns on Ben and Kate, Sean Saves the World and Grand Crew showing real range. What I appreciate is how he keeps that approachable, slightly goofy charm even inside a serious superhero universe, his comedic instincts softening the edges. He's a musician too, which only adds to the appeal. I have a soft spot for actors this likable and unforced, and I hope he stays busy for a long time.
