My Take

Equi Fernandez is the type of young Argentine midfielder I always keep an eye on, because that pipeline rarely disappoints. Born in Buenos Aires in 2002 and now at Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, he's already operating at a serious level for his age. At 170 centimeters he's not built on size, which tells me his game lives on positioning, tempo, and reading the play, the qualities I value most in a holding midfielder. A move to a top German club at this stage signals real belief in him. I'm curious to see how far his ceiling goes from here.
