Hunter Mahan

Hunter Mahan strikes me as the kind of professional who earns respect rather than headlines. Two World Golf Championship titles, including the 2012 Match Play, are no small feat; head-to-head golf exposes nerve like nothing else, and he won there. Spending many weeks inside the world top ten marks him as a genuine elite, even if he never carried the celebrity of the era's biggest names. I have a soft spot for craftsmen who simply keep contending, and he also has an official site.
