J. T. Barrett impresses me less for his college heroics at Ohio State, considerable as they were, than for what came after. Transitioning straight into coaching, now mentoring quarterbacks for the Chicago Bears, says a lot about the man. A player who reached the summit and then chose to serve from the sidelines carries a weight in his words that pure résumés cannot.
