My Take
Jon Ossoff interests me because his pre-political career actually explains his political style. Years spent producing investigative documentaries on corruption and war crimes trained him to build a case methodically, and you can see it in how he questions witnesses in Senate hearings: calm, prepared, relentless. Winning Georgia in 2021 and becoming the youngest sitting United States senator took real nerve in a state long considered out of reach for his party. I do not know where his ceiling is, but a politician who thinks like a reporter and campaigns like an organizer is a rare combination, and I suspect we are still reading the early chapters.
