My Take
Honestly, Josh Giddey is one of those players who just shouldn't be this good this young — and yet here we are. An Australian kid out of Melbourne, not exactly the traditional NBA pipeline, gets drafted sixth overall by Oklahoma City in 2021 and immediately starts bending the record books. The youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double? At 19 years old? That's not a fluke stat, that's a vision for the game that most grown men don't develop until their late twenties. Standing 6'8" with the passing instincts of a point guard, he's the kind of playmaker who makes the whole floor better. The move to the Chicago Bulls gives him a new stage, and I genuinely have no idea how high his ceiling is — which is exactly what makes him worth watching.
