My Take
Kevin Spacey is the hardest kind of figure to write about: an actor whose technical gifts I consider almost peerless, and whose reputation collapsed for reasons that cannot be waved away. The two Oscars, the Tony, the Olivier Awards — those reflect a real mastery of stillness, ambiguity, and quiet menace that shaped a generation of screen acting.
