My Take

Konnan is one of those names that means very different things depending on where you grew up watching wrestling. To me he's the rare figure who bridged WCW's lucha boom and the AAA scene in Mexico, then reinvented himself again as a podcaster with strong opinions. Being Cuban-born but raised around Miami gives him a real cross-cultural edge, and I think that's exactly why he connected with so many fans. A Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame nod confirms the influence. What I respect most is how he kept finding new ways to stay relevant long after his in-ring prime.
