My Take
Lea Michele is the rare performer whose ambition is the whole point. A Bronx kid who hit Broadway as a child in Les Misérables, broke through in Spring Awakening, then made Rachel Berry on Glee a global symbol of the relentless overachiever, she essentially played a heightened version of her own drive.
