Leah Ayres

Leah Ayres earned her place with roles like Janice in Bloodsport and Valerie on The Edge of Night, but what truly moves me is the second act of her life. After the screen, she became a master yoga teacher, a Family Constellations practitioner, and a coauthor of children's books. There is something deeply admirable about pivoting from being watched to helping others heal. The sensitivity that lets an actor inhabit a role surely serves her well in guiding people's bodies and minds. A life lived thoughtfully all the way through always wins my respect.
