My Take
What grabs me about Lorenzo Lamas is how restless his life looks. Yes, he earned a Golden Globe nomination as Lance Cumson on Falcon Crest, but the actor label barely contains him. Pilot, racing driver, taekwondo competitor, this Santa Monica native clearly prefers throwing his whole body at the world rather than sitting still on a soundstage. There is something refreshingly unguarded about a performer who chases real risk off-camera, and I respect that he never seemed interested in playing it safe. Decades in, he still reads as a man wired for motion, and I find that quietly admirable.
