My Take

What fascinates me about Lucas Lacamp is how thoroughly modern his story is. Born in Hong Kong in 2001, qualifying for the United States on residency grounds, he embodies the borderless reality of contemporary rugby. As a centre he sits in the most demanding spot on the pitch, where you need the brain to read a game and the body to absorb collisions in equal measure.
