My Take
Mark Attanasio is the classic Bronx-to-boardroom story, a Brown graduate who built a finance fortune and turned it toward sports. What interests me is not the roughly two billion dollar net worth but where he points his passion: owning the Milwaukee Brewers and taking a controlling stake in Norwich City across the Atlantic. Plenty of billionaires buy trophies; fewer commit to both baseball and football with evident love for the game. I respect an owner who invests money and genuine devotion into the teams he cares about, because that is the kind of ownership fans can actually rally behind.
