My Take
Mark Burnett is, to me, one of the most quietly influential figures in modern television, a man who shaped how the whole world consumes entertainment without ever stepping in front of a camera. Survivor, The Apprentice, Shark Tank, The Voice; the breadth of hits is staggering, and producing thousands of hours seen in seventy-plus countries is a feat few can match. What fascinates me is that he essentially industrialized reality television as a global format. The Walk of Fame star feels earned, but I respect the craftsman's instinct behind it even more than the trophies.
