My Take
Martha Higareda interests me because she refuses to stay on one side of the camera. Born in Villahermosa, Tabasco, she built a career not only as an actress but as a producer and screenwriter, choosing to shape stories rather than merely perform them. I respect that creative hunger; it suggests an artist unwilling to wait for the right role to come to her. As Mexican cinema continues to find global audiences, performers with her range and authorial instincts feel especially valuable. I'm genuinely curious to see what stories she chooses to tell next.
