My Take

Melanie Cruise earns my admiration for the unglamorous path she walked. At 183 cm out of Chicago, she had the presence to command a ring, and she used it across AEW, SHIMMER, and the independents, becoming the first Resistance Pro Women's champion along the way. What I respect most is that she built her reputation in the grind of regional promotions rather than only on the big stage. That kind of journeywoman dedication, working small venues and honoring the craft night after night, is the backbone of pro wrestling, and I think it deserves far more credit than it usually gets.
