My Take
Miki Shimomura is a Tokyo girl born in the tail end of 1998, and if you know anything about Fairies — the Avex-backed dance and vocal group that exploded onto the scene in the early 2010s with that almost intimidating level of synchronized choreography — then you know exactly what kind of performer she is. These weren't girls who just stood there looking cute; Fairies trained hard and it showed in every sharp, precise move. Miki fits right into that mold: a singer, dancer, and model wrapped in one, which is basically the triple-threat package the Japanese pop industry demands. Details about her personal life are scarce, and honestly I respect the mystery. Let the work speak — and with a background like hers, there's plenty of it.
