Rusev

Rusev fascinates me as a study in raw versatility. Born on Christmas Day in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, he stacked powerlifting, Thai boxing, and even rowing before conquering American wrestling rings in WWE and AEW. That is an extraordinary athletic foundation, and you can see it in how he commands the ring. What I admire most is his range as a performer, equally convincing as a fearsome heel or a beloved fan favorite. Crossing from Eastern Europe to the top of US sports entertainment is no small feat, and his blend of menace and charisma makes him one of the more compelling big men of his era.
