Natsuki Katō

She started at twelve as an image girl for the game company Genki and made her acting debut in 1999 as Robina, the heroine of Moero!! Robocon. The labels alone say plenty: model, actress, voice actor. That is a specific route. She began where being looked at is the job, 168cm and fashion work, out of Yurihonjo in Akita, and then moved toward roles where the face matters less and less, until she was in a booth where it does not matter at all. Most people who break in on their looks never take that gamble, because in voice work the voice is all you have and there is nowhere to hide. She was born in 1985, so she is in her forties now, long past the version of herself the industry first sold. Where someone like that goes next is what I want to see.
