My Take
Nicole Byer is pure energy, the kind of performer who lifts a room just by laughing. As host of Netflix's Nailed It! she turned warmth and chaos into something the whole world could enjoy, picking up four Primetime Emmy nominations along the way. A New Jersey native born in 1986, she's a comedian, actress, host, and podcaster who broke through on Girl Code and climbed without ever sanding down her personality. To me, making people laugh is genuinely sacred work, and few do it with as much unapologetic joy. I love that she charges ahead exactly as herself, and I'll keep rooting for her.
