My Take
Gorman is exactly the kind of homegrown power bat Cardinals fans dream about. Drafted out of high school in Arizona, he climbed the system with a swing built for the long ball, and watching him turn on an inside fastball is genuinely exciting. The strikeouts can pile up, and the defensive position has bounced around, but the raw thump in his bat is the real deal. If he tightens up the contact rate, he could become a fixture in the middle of that St. Louis lineup. I'm rooting for him to put it all together.
