Oakes Fegley

Oakes Fegley is one of the young actors I am most curious to watch grow up on screen. Born in 2004 in Allentown, he already carries credits that most adults would envy, from Pete's Dragon to Spielberg's The Fabelmans. What impresses me is how he avoided the usual child-star plateau, steadily picking projects with real directors instead of easy paydays. There is a contained intensity to his work that reads beautifully on camera. I suspect his most interesting roles are still ahead of him, and I plan to keep an eye on where he takes his career.
