Priscilla Barnes

What I enjoy about Barnes is her refusal to be boxed in. She began as a 1976 Penthouse Pet, became a household face as Terri Alden on Three's Company, then later threw herself into brutal genre fare like The Devil's Rejects. A career that can hold sitcom warmth, a Bond film in Licence to Kill, and unflinching horror suggests real adaptability and grit. Many performers get typecast and fade; she kept reinventing the kind of work she would take. To me she reads as a survivor who chose range over comfort, and that stubborn versatility is exactly why she lasted.
