My Take
Redfoo is easy to underrate if you only judge music by gravity. But I have real respect for what LMFAO pulled off: Party Rock Anthem and Sexy and I Know It weren't trying to be profound, they were trying to make the entire planet move, and they did, topping the Hot 100 twice. Stefan Gordy commits fully to the bit, singer, rapper, producer, DJ, even pro tennis on the side, and there's something disarming about an artist with zero pretension. Cultural joy is a genuine skill, harder to manufacture than people think, and he's a master of it.
