Samuel Eto'o is, to my mind, the most complete African striker the game has produced. Leaving Douala for Real Madrid at sixteen takes audacity; turning that gamble into African Footballer of the Year honors, a Pichichi Trophy, and a place among the all-time great forwards takes something rarer.
